Corporate Spotlight: Elevate BCX

Brothers Caleb and Nate Aring started Elevate Building Commissioning in 2016 with the goal of optimizing the efficiency of the built environment for people and the planet.

Elevate’s team test and troubleshoot a building’s heating, cooling, lighting, generators, security, and solar systems to lower utility costs and reduce energy use.

“The result of our work provides a building owner an economic benefit with lower utility bills and reduced maintenance since we find most issues before owners take the building as their own,” says Caleb Aring (second from left in photo above.) “The work also provides a climate change benefit of reducing the building’s energy footprint.” With the built environment contributing close to 39 percent of carbon emissions in the U.S., according to the U.S. Green Building Council, Elevate’s work plays a critical role in regional and global efforts to curb greenhouse gases.

Their environmental ethos goes beyond the services they deliver as a business. Since 2018, Elevate has generously supported Wild Salmon Center’s mission through One Percent For the Planet. From signing on to action alerts to showing up for local events, Elevate continues to be an ally for wild salmon and their home rivers.

We choose Wild Salmon Center as a partner because of their dedication to the protection of fragile and critical ecosystems.

“We choose Wild Salmon Center as a partner because of their dedication to the protection of fragile and critical ecosystems,” says Caleb Aring. “We experience the impact of their work locally here in Oregon and simultaneously can see the global impact of WSC’s work which is another unique aspect of this awesome organization.”
